All Saints Church Launches Weekly Services

We are so excited to announce the launch of another new parish in the Diocese of Cascadia, All Saints launches weekly services on April 15th.

We began discussing and praying about a church plant in Everett over a year ago. Barry Crane the Pastor of North Sound Church asked another Baptist Pastor in Everett if he would be willing to host and help plant an Anglican Church in their building. We met with the board of Bethel Baptist Church and started dreaming about what God might do. We also worked with Bishop Todd Hunter of the Diocese of C4SO who suggested a potential planter named Kevin Craik. To make a long story short, we met with Kevin and he and his wife Melissa began praying about their future and whether or not God was calling them to relocate their family from Southern California to Everett Washington. After many conversations and much prayer Kevin, Melissa, and their son Jamison moved here in September of 2016 to begin the work of starting a new parish in Everett. The Lord provided in so many ways along the way it is really incredible. One example of God's provision is that when Kevin met with one of his mentors and friends about their potential move the response he received was that this trusted mentor and his wife were also moving to the same area for completely different reasons. Another way that God provided was with a home for the Craiks to stay in for the first 9 months once they moved. Another friend moved up as well to be a part of the team and help with the difficult work of planting a church. God is on the move in the Northwest and we get to be apart of it by planting gospel centered, sacramental, spirit led, Anglican Churches! Thank you for all of your prayer and support as a diocese. Please pray for All Saints and the Craik family, and join them for worship on a Saturday night if you find yourself in the Everett area.
