Update on Church Planting in the Diocese

Fr. Jesse Martin has officially launched Christ Church Ellensburg. Thier first service was on Sunday, January 7th! They have had a great response in their first 3 weeks averaging close to 30 people in attendance. Please pray for this new work in Ellensburg and for Fr. Jesse and Jenn Martin.

Exciting things are happening at Light of Christ Anglican Church in Corvalis Oregon. Fr. Scott says that this young church is growing, the last report he sent said that in just a matter of a few weeks they had doubled their attendance! Praise the Lord that he is building his church in Corvalis!

Deacon Jason Clark is working hard in Salem, Oregon to gather people in an effort to plant a new Anglican Parish. A small group has begun meeting in his home weekly for dinner and Evening Prayer and Jason is working hard to be involved and visible in the community.  Visit salemanglican.net to see more of what's happening there and please keep Deacon Jason and Angi in your prayers.

As a Diocese we have a goal of planting 10 new Anglican Churches in 5 years. We believe that this is the next step in working toward the mission that we feel God has called us to in the Pacific Northwest. While we are well on our way with one new church already planted this year and at least one other underway we need your help to sustain this momentum over the next 5 years. If you are willing to help us reach this goal we invite you to pray for and give towards our church planting efforts.
